Return of the Lost

Gavin Jones is an illustrator and digital sculptor. He currently works out of the Tampa Bay Area as he completes his BFA at the University of South Florida. Jones first started his artistic journey through competing with his best mate on who could draw anime characters the best. Now, Jones is focused on bringing the stories that make his imagination wander to life. He is set out on the goal of ushering other minds to join him on these amazing journeys by creating images that peak fascinations through imaginative realism. In his BFA work Jones explores the folk tale of Hansel and Gretel, following them through their trials so that others too can understand how to overcome tribulations of life.

Here are early concept ideas for Hansel and Gretyl. Babyface Hunter Hansel was always meant to look younger than his fiery little sister Gretyl but you don’t wanna mess with either when meeting them for the first time. They can be a bit aggressive.
