Lo-Fi
My work as animator tends to focus on themes of displacement, humanity and religion. As an artist I define displacement as a feeling of being out of place while constantly moving forward in time. My Senior Thesis is a culmination of these themes embodied by the story of a robot named Lo-Fi. Lo-Fi is a 3D animated short film that involves the journey of a robot through a forest that leads to salvation. As an artist I draw from my Catholic faith and aim to explore it in a new way by referencing biblical stories. As an artist it is my personal goal to learn new techniques and push myself into further developing my artistic practice.
